PTF Committees

New Teacher
Beth Romano

The new teacher committee presents the New Teacher Dinner every September at Ripa's Restaurant.

All new teachers to the district are invited to attend. We will discuss current events, the teacher's contract, and union benefits.

Social Activities

The Social Committee is responsible for all social activities including, the Fall Get Together, the Retirement Dinner, the End of the Year Picnic, and the Holiday Party.

Vote Cope
Sue Dibble

Vote Cope is organization in place to fight to keep educational programs and obtain more benefits for our profession. Last year the Vote Cope organization fought to keep teacher centers open, save and FINANCE the mentor program, improve the terms of retirement and aid districts with possible layoffs.

Committee of 100
Vinnie Lazzara

The Committee of 100 meets in March and June. It's sole purpose is to lobby our elected officials at the state level regarding educational issues. Vote Cope donations pay for Committee of 100 expenses.

Negotiations
Anthony DiGiulio

The negotiating team meets before and during contract negotiations every 4 years. This committee consists of 7 members and they are chosen by the PTF Executive Board.
