The purposes of this Association are to unite the Pembroke Public Schools Teachers (Unit A); Nurses (Unit B), Custodians and Secretaries (Unit C), Paraprofessionals, (Unit D), and Cafeteria Staff (Unit E); into the Association for the benefit of its members and to promote equal rights and protection for all members regardless of age, race, ethnicity, creed, religion, national origin, gender, sexual identity, physical ability, or marital status; to build solidarity among members of the profession; to support local, state, national, and international movements for the improvement of education and the profession; to conduct collective bargaining with the Pembroke School Committee according to the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; to enable members to speak with a common voice on matters pertaining to the education profession and to present their individual and common interests before the Pembroke School Committee and other legal authorities.
